The chair is manufactured in China.
Yes, you really need to attach the arms to hold the back of the seat.
The inside width (side to side between armrests) and inside depth (front to back inside) are 22.6 inches and 20.5 inches.
Yes. You have to pull out the handle thing underneath the chair. You can have it lean back or sit straight for your preference.
